Be mindful of signs of risk. These will be personal to you but may include:
- Thinking about ending your life or, ways that you would harm yourself.
- Taking a dangerous combination of medications, using excessive amounts of drugs, and/or alcohol.
- Isolating yourself, not talking with other people, loss of interest in things.
- Not sleeping, feeling anxious and/or depressed
- Strong feelings of anger or sadness that are hard to control or a total absence/numbness of feelings
