Belfast Castle Abseil – Sunday, 3rd September

Take on the 100ft abseil down Belfast’s iconic castle and raise funds for people struggling with their mental health.  Registration is just £20 and each participant is asked to raise a minimum suggested sponsorship of £150.  To register, email claire@lighthousecharity.com

Belfast City Marathon – Sunday, 30th April

The 26.2 mile event starts at the Stormont Estate and finishes at Ormeau Embankment. Supporting mental health in the workplace

We’re delighted to be supporting Balcas with the mental wellbeing of their workforce. To coincide with World Mental Health Day, Executive Director, Paul Finnegan, Services Coordinator, Rachael McLoughlin and Fundraising Lead, Claire Hogarth visited Balcas to meet their mental health first aiders to launch a bespoke counselling service for its 370+ valued employees and outline our range of services and how we can best compliment their work. Belfast City Half Marathon

Belfast City Half Marathon will start at 9am at Ormeau Park and cover 13.1m across the streets of Belfast before finishing at Stranmillis Embankment.   How to register? Young man uses arts as therapy to overcome grief

In 2013, Jordan found his grandfather, who had sadly taken his own life. Traumatised, Jordan felt guilty, broken and like an empty shell who couldn’t see a future for himself, nor wanted one without his granda. HASTINGS HOTELS SUPPORTS LIGHTHOUSE

Hastings Hotels recently launched their Christmas entertainment schedule at The Stormont Hotel, Belfast and unveiled that Lighthouse Charity will be the charity beneficiary for Christmas shows to include Brian Kennedy concerts (with support artists Odhran Murphy and RUE), Christmas party nights featuring Abba, Tina Turner, Elvis, Queen and Neil Diamond Tributes. Football legend Gerry Armstrong and U105’s Johnny Hero also announced that they will be ambassadors for the charity.   Lighthouse, which was established in 2003, is an organisation committed to the prevention of suicide, self-harm; the promotion of positive mental health and the provision of support services to families who have been bereaved by suicide.  The charity has grown […]

SKYDIVE 2022
